˅
When did all this good
Happen to break down?
At the end I stood
Thrashed your perfect crown
˅
Can't bear to look up
At the destruction of the
Neverland we made
˅
It was beautiful.. once
˅
So this is how it
All ends in this life of our
Year of happiness
?!
My first work in a long time. I was supposed to be doing an English assignment about Sylvia Plath's poetry but instead I decided to make this.

It's mixed in style as you can see. The second and last verses are attempts at haiku-styled poetry. The third verse is just a single line standing alone. The first verse is a traditional style of poetry in my country much used but it's a poor example of it, it translates to quatrain in English from Icelandic. It has the rhymes and syllable quantity in place but is missing a crucial part concerning first letters in words in the lines. I'll explain it better for the ones that want me to.

There's a hidden line in the poem that relates to the rest of it. Now try to find it if you haven't already.
